TIME, PATIENCE, LIGHT, SHADE... TEMPO, PACIÊNCIA, LUZ, SOMBRA...

Every year this beautiful orange flower blooms in my backyard. I did not plant this flower anywhere else in my garden. I have no idea where it came from... It lays dormant all year long till the spring when them urges it upward. It is Hippeastrum striatum, from the family Amaryllidaceae, native to Brazil.

Todo o ano, este lindo lírio brota no meu quintal. Eu não plantei essa flor e nem sei como ela veio parar aqui... Seu bulbo fica adormecido no interior da terra até que na primavera, uma chuvarada a faz brotar. Ela é o Hippeastrum striatum, pertencente à família Amaryllidaceae, nativa do Brasil.

This beautiful and extremely scented and fragrant tree, native from Brazil, is knows as Copperpod or Yellow Flame, in Portuguese "Sibipiruna", scientific name: Caesalpinia peltophorides.
