Good afternoon! Trying to beat the heat (yes again) out here in Northern California. Dagnabit, can it be Fall weather already? I feel like I am pleading for it! Not only will I happily welcome the cooler weather but it's killing me to feel off season in my clothes and colors! Do you wear colors according to season or are you an anything goes kind of person? I go both ways, but I want it to feel like Fall so badly so I can sport all my favorite Fall colors and polish. Today I have a perfect example of a Fall collection that totally rocks! Tomorrow, Saturday the 26th at 11am CST, Cupcake Polish will be releasing the Modern Vampire collection. This is a fangtastic collection of colors in that super linear holo that Sara makes so well. So set your alarm, you don't want to miss out tomorrow! Let's dig right in and check out these vampy beauties.

Up first I've got Down For The Count, a gorgeous, warm, butterscotch shade linear holo. I LOVE this color so flipping much! Down For The Count had a stellar formula and applied like a dream. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. No topcoat used.
Another favorite of mine is Blood Hound. WOW, just WOW! Look at this stunning Merlot (or blood) red linear holo! It is the epitome of a "vampy" shade. Formula and application of Blood Hound were both perfect. I used 2 coats and no topcoat.
Hello, broken record, but Coffin Break is another one of my favorites from the Modern Vampire collection. How could it not be? Coffin Break is a super dark brown-black linear holo that screams classic black and white horror flick! Once again the formula and application were stupendous. I used 2 coats of Coffin Break and no topcoat.
Moving right along, this is Bat-Chelor Pad. This is a beautiful dark blue linear holo. I see a lot of green in the flame to add some color interest. The formula and application were perfect. I only needed 1 coat of Bat-Chelor Pad to reach full opacity. No topcoat used.
Last but not least is Re-Vamped, a green-teal linear holo. This is a great color, I love that it's still fresh but also perfect for Fall. Formula and application were both awesome. I used 2 coats of Re-Vamped for full coverage. No topcoat.
