You know those "top hits" albums - the records with cover band recordings of popular songs, with a sexy babe on the cover. There are so many examples, I couldn't begin to present them all. We provided a respectable amount back in 2013; time for another round.
Hey, it's Brigitte Lahaie - she was in a bunch of French horror and sexploitation movies, some covered on Retrospace.
So, don't let the American flag fool you - this, and many other records in this post are not from the US. You might say this type of record was more popular overseas - here in the states, we were, for better or worse, more partial to the K-Tel record. No cheesecake on those covers, but at least the songs were always by the original artists.
Anybody want to take a stab as to what she's standing up against?
Hey, it's Sue Longhurst! We've run into her a couple time on our Double Feature posts (What the Swedish Butler Saw, and Confessions of a Window Cleaner).
Also, I wouldn't exactly say "I Am I Said" is a top-hit for dancing.
